Spotkanie o Spowiedzi Swietej

Niech bedzie pochwalony Jezus Chrystus!

Na spotkaniu w zeszly piatek o. Wojciech poprowadzil temat o Spowiedzi Swietej. Przypomnial nam piec warunkow dobrej spowiedzi, to znaczy WAZNEJ spowiedzi:
1. Rachunek sumienia
2. Zal za grzechy
3. Mocne postanowienie poprawy
4. Szczera spowiedz
5. Zadoscuczynienie
Bez wypelnienia tych warunkow spowiedz jest niewazna, i grzechy nie sa odpuszczone. Rowniez wazne jest to, aby te warunki wypelniac w podanej kolei, np. rachunek sumienia robi sie przed przystapieniem do Spowiedzi Swietej.

Jezeli ktos uwaza, ze spowiada sie bezposrednio do Boga i nie przystepuje do Spowiedzi Swietej, jego ciezkie grzechy nie sa odpuszczone poniewaz to kaplanom Jezus dal moc odpuszczania grzechow, i ten bog do ktorego ta osoba sie spowiada to nie jest Bog Jezusa.

Istnieja sytuacje gdzie spowiedz zbiorowa z grzechow ciezkich jest dopuszczona.

Spowiedz Swieta to wielki dar z ktorego powinnismy korzystac i nie bac sie go. Sam Pan Jezus czeka na nas w konfesjonale. Jezeli ktos ma klopoty z przystapieniem do Spowiedzi Swietej, o. Wojciech na pewno moze pomoc i na pewno chetnie z dana osoba na ten temat osobiscie porozmawia.

Ktoz jak Bog!

Blessed be Jesus Christ!

At last Friday’s meeting Fr. Wojciech led the topic of Holy Confession. He reminded us of the five postulates of a good confession, that is of a VALID confession:
1. Examination of conscience
2. Sorrow for sins
3. Strong resolution to conversion
4. Complete, honest confession
5. Making amends (Completing the penance given by the confessor)
Without fulfilling these postulates, the confession is invalid and the sins are not forgiven. It is also important to fulfil these postulates in the given order, for example the examination of the conscience is to be done before the confession.

If someone claims that he or she confesses directly to God and does not need to enter into the Sacrament of Confession, the grave sins of that person are not forgiven because it is priests whom Jesus gave the power to forgive sins, and the god to whom that person claims to be confessing to is not the God of Jesus Christ.

There are situations where a group confession of grave sins is permitted. Those are emergency situations, for example on a sinking ship. If there is a priest present, he can absolve everyone at once of all sins without the people confessing out loud. However, if for example in this case the travel ends happily, everyone is to go confession for the absolution to be valid. If there is no priest nearby, then every person expresses inside of them sorrow for all committed sins.

Fr. Wojciech provided a thought of St. John Vianney, the holy pastor of Ars who spent much time in the confessional, that many people come to confession but not many really express sorrow for their sins. Holy Confession is a very serious matter, you have to realize and define your sins, and often ev ship. If there is a priest present, he can absolve everyone at once of all sins without the people confessing out loud. ship. If there is a priest present, he can absolve everyone at once of all sins without the people confessing out loud. en think about if for example by not very thoughtful or actually purposely malicious comments you or I are hurting others and if you or I have enough culture and humility to say a sincere “I’m sorry”.

Holy Confession is a great gift that we should accept and not be afraid of. Jesus himself is waiting for us in the confessional. If someone has difficulty with going to confession, Fr. Wojciech for sure can help with that and for sure will be happy to talk about that in privacy with the person.
